What role can students play?
Students are vital to building a grass roots social movement; one that can win the fight against the corrupting influence of money on politics. Students have been central to every progressive social movement from civil rights to environmental protection. They provide energy, ideas, and enthusiasm for outreach on their own campuses; they work in coalition with students from other universities; and, joining together with activists in their surrounding communities, they are a potent force for social change.
By informing others, working on local and state initiatives, and supporting national efforts to democratize campaign financing, students play a key role in Changing Elections and Changing America.
